SpEqTRA NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for people 14 years of age and older
to assist children and adults with special needs during their riding lessons.

Experience with horses is not necessary, but you should love both children and walking. A volunteer training clinic will be provided.

All prospective volunteers must have a current police clearance with a vulnerable sector screening (a Police Clearance form, accompanied by a letter from us, will mean there is no expense to you for this). You will be asked to commit fully to the weekly therapeutic riding sessions as a horse leader or a side walker, but we definitely will work around your life, and schedule you at a time that works best.  Without dedicated volunteers, our program can’t operate smoothly.

Students looking for community service hours are welcome.
