Chelsea
Chelsea is a pinto Shetland pony. She is the smallest of the herd, but her size is what makes her such an asset to our program. She brings joy and comfort to smaller riders who can feel a bit insecure on a larger mount. She is known for her hugability.
Luke
Luke is a 15.1H chestnut registered quarter horse. Luke had a show career before joining SpEqTRA and has participated in the disciplines of Western Dressage and Trail. His years in the show ring were a great foundation for his latest role as a therapeutic riding horse.
Cleo
Cleo is a 14.2H bay grade quarter horse. Cleo was welcomed into the program in 2024, at the age of 6, after a lengthy search to fill the void of a retiring long-term horse named Gracie. She had big shoes to fill, but has done a great job in Gracie’s stead. She is well trained and gentle with both riders, handlers and volunteers.
Rocket
Rocket is a 16H palomino Kentucky Mountain Horse. Although not owned by SpEqTRA, his owner has graciously encouraged his participation in our program. Rocket’s stocky size is useful for our taller riders, and his patient and gentle manner fits nicely into our program.
